3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic

On July 13th, The HIKE Foundation held its 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Midwest Coca-Cola. This year's event was held at The Legends Club in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The outing did not disappoint and has solidified itself as one of the area's top celebrity golf events.

The Shamble format, and the opportunity to play with celebrities, attracted over 125 golfers. Each golfer was provided with their choice of over $200 worth of Nike Golf, Adidas Golf and TaylorMade items from the "HIKE Golf Pro Shop".

At the conclusion of the Classic, prizes were awarded to the two teams with the lowest scores. The team from ABC played with KSTP Channel 5 Eyewitness News Sports Director - Joe Schmidt and posted the event's lowest score to win top honors. For their efforts each player received a Nike CPR Golf Club. Nike Golf Balls and Chili's gift certificates were awarded to the winners of the Most Accurate Drive, Longest Putt, Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole competitions; one lucky one lucky golfer received a cordless jigsaw for the "Ball in the Woods" award, a Weed-eater was awarded to a lucky golfer who lost his drive on the "Ball in the Weeds" hole and a ShopVac was handed out for the "Ball in the Water" award.
