HIKE Foundation announces their new signature program "HIKE SCHOLARS"

Eden Prairie, MN (November 2, 2006) - Minnesota Vikings Center Matt Birk and his HIKE Foundation announce their new signature program "HIKE SCHOLARS". HIKE SCHOLARS has been designed to change lives generationaly through education by providing at-risk twin cities children with the Hope, Inspiration, Knowledge and Education they will need to make it through the key educational transition points between elementary, middle, high school and college.

On November 14th at the West Side Boys & Girls Club in Saint Paul, the HIKE Foundation will begin their twelve year investment of over $1,000,000 in the lives of at-risk twin cities children by providing social reinforcement, educational assistance and interactive educational programs; instilling in each HIKE SCHOLAR the dream of higher of education.
